Well, not literally. But we did have a pretty sweet first week of marriage! We honeymooned in Mazatlan, Mexico where we enjoyed lots of sun, sand, delicious food, 4 double beds, one king size and three bathrooms. Yep. Through a slight mixup the week before the wedding we ended up with a three room suite!
And we ate. A lot.

We were on the 26th floor of the 27 story resort.
Just above us was the fancy penthouse. We peeked in and took some pictures. They had a pool on their balcony. No big deal.
My personal favorite was sunset on the beach.
But daytime on the beach was pretty nice too.
We went on a catamaran excursion to nearby Deer Island.
And we spent the last day lounging at the pool. Because we could.
We drove back to Laramie on Monday and made it back just as our amazing friends finished our apartment! We were so stunned when we walked in! Several people had been putting in 12-14 hr days while we were gone so that it would be ready to move into. It was such a wonderful surprise!
So we sat in the living room and watched The Princess Bride while we opened wedding presents.
